YeeHawPugchamp could try out a week/weekend with no crossbow so people can form their opinions on it maybe?

What are the rules for offclassing on na pugchamp? it seems like every admin has a different interpretation of how much you can offclass. To clarify, im not talking about 2 people switching classes before a pug(ie. scout and demo swapping) im referring to people playing sniper, spy, engie, etc full-time.
Ive spoken to multiple admins. Alexandros told me you couldnt offclass for more than 50% of the game. Nursey and Jaguarfiend told me you couldnt offclass for more than 33% of the game. Lucrative told me that you could offclass for 100% of the game as long as a) your team is winning and b) nobody on your team tells you to stop.
Could someone(tsc or erynn) please give a definitive answer as to how much offclassing is allowed? or at the very least could the admins agree on an amount and enforce it equally?

it sucks playing pugs when someone plays 20 minutes of sniper and 3 minutes of scout but when I asked lucrative about it he said it was completely fine.

CollaideCan you update reckoner to it's newest version (rc2)? Thanks.
edit: Can we start using the most recent snakewater version as well? (final1)
edit2: Can we ban people who use an external software to make their name too long to fit in logs?
Yes to the updates. Also I wasn't aware about this name thing. Could you dm me and we can talk about it.

For offclassing, I have always said no more then ~1/3 of a pug and/or upon review as every situation is different. Sometimes it makes sense that there was a lot of offclassing, and sometimes you get someone that plays 6 minutes of an offclass but completely fucks around. We are working on fixing the situation with the admins in NA. Jarrett and Nursey have taken on the 'head admin' role and we have been slowly revisiting how things are handled. That being said, I will be stepping back from an active admin and will only be around for technical problems. I have been taking time off from tf2 to enjoy other things but I do check in frequently.
Per a few requests, we will be trialing Bagel in the pugchamp map pool. It will be temporarily replacing Reckoner in NA and Metalworks in EU.
Ninja Edit: Our vps died tonight and I am not sure why. I am assuming it is a one off thing but if it crashes again, please message tsc or I and we can create a ticket with our provider.

there should be a dm or mge server for people waiting for pugs to start
or just a pugchamp dm / mge server with connect info on the website
this would be ultra epic

This pug never started due to a bug, and never ended: https://eu.pug.champ.gg/game/5919ddf9399e99a06d132daa
alright im sick and tired of this and im going to say this for everyone
Make an actual afk system that isnt based off of a semi fast green bar filling up and then resetting you to being unready
i literally can't alt tab or do anything else without being removed
this actually needs to be addressed

agreed. however, I think there should be a permanent ready button so I don't have to sit on my computer the entire time. I understand people might "forget" but people forgetting was never even a small issue on older pug websites. One case is when I and many other people like to get food for a few minutes (shorter than the amount it takes to receive info after getting picked tbh), but I'll get afk'd within like a minute or two. Similarly, when I wait to leave my computer until the picking starts and the draft ended, if I'm not there, I for some reason have to re-ready. I actually can't even go to the bathroom sometimes until picking is over.

I have increased it from 5 minutes to 15 minutes. If this is still/becomes a problem let me know.
I had this idea in the back of my head and I haven't really organized it that well but what if there was a "pro league" where high im-> top invite players could play by paying a small entry fee (say 10 USD) and play some quality pugs to win some prizes (such as hardware or money from sponsors or a fraction of the entry fees) based off of some sort of metric just like in FaceIt's FPL for CSGO.
More importantly I think this would establish some sort of Rank S system and would attract a lot of viewers on twitch ( I assume it would since whenever NA CS players are playing Rank S, they get so much more views compared to anyone else) and I also gotta say that watching top level PUGs is extremely entertaining from a casual/amateur perspective and would grow the competitive scene a lot more.
EDIT: not saying this should or could happen; but theoretically would be very cool
EDIT #2: Maybe the pro league could be played off a pugchamp client, but that would unfortunately take a lot of dev time with little to no profit or reward to the devs

they did exactly this and no one played it

isn't faceit's fpl/esea rank s just based on whoever grinds the most games?

Rank S you can get promoted to by being one of the top players in the rank below, so technically yes.

The one remaining mixchamp server has really been struggling in the past couple days, simply not working half the time when drafts are ready. I know this is probably not high priority because it's mixchamp but I would love it if this were fixed.

Kill this please tnx
So what about a feature that automatically kills dead pugs, like after 2hours.
several people added me the last couple of days getting the same error upon logging in. "you are not authorized to use this service". All of them have vacbans on different games but not in tf2. Please look into that aswell.

could a link to ETF2L be put on pugchamp profiles ? at least for eu pugchamp
should be as easy as putting etf2l.org/search/[steamID64], for example http://etf2l.org/search/76561198011988825/ , right next to the logs.tf and demos.tf links.
