5v5 Arena Respawn Revival

Hi everyone! for a little while now I've been dabbling in the ancient format of 5v5 Respawn Arena, it was originally played as an alternative to 6's, here's some info on the format for the uninformed.
In-short Arena Respawn is an Arena mod where rather then winning the round, capturing the control point instead respawns all dead teammates, the goal of the game becoming eliminating the other team.
The game mode has a few quirks to it that I think add a good twist to the standard 6's format and could bring in more players from all over,

  • To avoid spawn camping when players respawn they start off ubered for a few seconds.
  • Players standing on the control point when their team already owns it receive the ‘marked for death’ debuff. It wares off after a few seconds when no longer on the control point.
  • Players are respawned when the control point is capped.
  • Class limit of 1 on every class
  • Each team can pick a class to be banned

There's more to list here but with the current state of the old Arena Respawn plugin these are all subject to change due to rebalancing of the game mode.

I am currently working on developing a new version of the original plugin, as well as possibly developing new maps and reformatting the game mode for the modern competitive scene! I am trying to get people that would possibly be interested in helping develop any of these things, preferably people with past experience working with programs like SourceMod, as well as running their own servers. experience coding in c++ is also greatly welcomed!
