Looking for a new computer, need suggestions.

Budget: Around $1500 including monitor and mouse.

Been looking on ibuypower, and i'm looking to maybe get the Paladin F.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

Build your own, its easy and will be a lot cheaper.
If you need any help the guys at www.reddit.com/r/buildapc are very helpful and can help you with any questions you might have

Personally, this is what I would choose but it's all up for debate. Do some research on your own and see what conclusions you draw

Take the Asus VG236H 120hz monitor into consideration:
http://wecravegamestoo.com/forums/gadgetry-electronics-discussion/9014-asus-vg236h-120hz-3d-monitor-review.html

The dude also did a review on the BenQ XL2420T, too:
http://wecravegamestoo.com/forums/gadgetry-electronics-discussion/10706-benq-xl2420t-120hz-3d-monitor-review.html

The asus monitor has higher color accuracy and has identical input lag, in comparison to the benq.

A few things from my build(around $1300) 2 months ago:

75$ case, 3 fans, easy installation
newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811517012

$135 The cheapest motherboard to get with a higher end processor. No SLI
newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131834

$250 GTX 570 Graphics Card, highest end GPU while still getting great bang for buck
newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130593

$140 Power Supply, was on sale, for this setup you want at least 600 Watts
newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817116016

$215 Processor, similar to GPU: not the very best but a good deal
newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115233

$105 Solid State Drive, was on sale, more than enough space for an SSD
newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226236

$65 Standard Hard Drive to keep everything else
newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136769

This build is great, but the video card is a poor choice. MSI 660ti power edition is the GPU of choice for anybody building a single card machine right now. It out performs the 670 SC and the 680.

Yeah I've just heard the cooler is a great one. I own the EVGA myself so I haven't payed much attention to the other brands but John seems knowledgeable, go with that one.

Don't do this. For $250 you have a lot better options than the 570, it may be a great card, but you can get better bang for you buck elsewhere with a newer card

What these 2 have said, except I would skip the SSD. IMO, an SSD is not worth it if I can't fit Windows AND ALL of my programs on it.

This build is great, but the video card is a poor choice. MSI 660ti power edition is the GPU of choice for anybody building a single card machine right now. It out performs the 670 SC and the 680.[/quote]

Both preform almost exactly the same.

Overclocking:

Just get the one that is cheapest.

MSI's PE 660ti is a great choice but in no way shape or form can it possibly outperform a 670 or 680. The 660ti's possibly higher clock speed from OC doesn't mean much.
An OC'd 660ti only goes to par with a stock 670's performance (maybe slightly better if you get a good OC without POST problems), but it gets instantly crushed by an OC'd 670, and any 680 will completely destroy the 660ti's performance. Especially factoring in MSI's 670 power edition and Lightning edition 680.

frknWhat these 2 have said, except I would skip the SSD. IMO, an SSD is not worth it if I can't fit Windows AND ALL of my programs on it.

I would definitely get an SSD, even if it required a slight downgrade on something else. I built a new computer recently and having an SSD was by far the most noticeable upgrade. 64 GB is ridiculously small though, you can get 120 GB for a little over $100.

Just my opinion though.

Yeah that's what I meant, if you're gonna get an SSD you really should go 120/128 or higher.

Not just tf2. Also, I asked how much FPS one gets, not buying advice, although thanks for the comment.

It depends on what config you run

Let's say no config vs maxframes.

Well no config max settings you can get between 200-300 fps depending on what is happening in the game at that time. Sometimes your fps will drop down into the 100s but almost never dips below 120. With maxframes you can get rougly 300-400 fps with the frame rate occasionally but rarely dropping into the 240s or 250s during very heavy graphic things. This is during 6v6 gameplay, playing on pub servers will cause your fps to be lower than this
