Old post removed because it was a really bad approach. Remind me to remove that crontab entry.

New method with php/jQuery:

http://kritz.me/donors.php

Use in conjunction with https://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3284 for streaming

Would be nice if you added irc chat to overlay so people watching the vods can see what was said.

Since he doesn't actually say what the script does, if anyone is a streamer:

It grabs the list of donors from indiegogo and formats it into an HTML file that an OBS plugin can display (so you can stream a list of donors or something).

Updated with a new and better method where you don't need your own Linux server. See OP.

Demo'd here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBP5K2fA3ow (at the bottom of the screen)

It's set to refresh the list every five minutes after it reaches the end of the current scroll, but it seems to be disappearing occasionally... not sure if it's the browser plugin or the script (probably the script). Will look into it another time. The URL will remain the same anyway.
