Is anyone having issues with loading VODs ?

I use Chrome yet even other browsers fail to load anything when I try. Is anyone aware of some backdoor plugins or fixes to resolve this issue? I haven't been able to find any help for a while now. Apparently a lot of people on Twitch have the same issue.

I'm simply never able to get past the "Loading video..." screen.

ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED

Note: This is just an issue for my main rig, yet my laptops all seem to load VODs instantly, unfortunately in 10 second intervals though with like 30 second buffer zones in between them.

Seems to load okay here, I don't believe it's an issue with twitch.

As stupid as it is; have you tried powercycling your router & modem?
Simply unplugging both from power, waiting 30 seconds and plugging them back in resolves tons of networking issues for soho networks.

If the issue persists beyond that, I would suggest using CCleaner from Piriform (https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner) to clear cache, temp files, etc.

**FIXED**

if you have Avast! installed on your machine. Deleting it solved this issue for me. i can now watch vods. such an odd bug. gotta find new virus protection now.

I doubt it was Avast itself, I use it and I've never had problems watching VODs, they load slow but I've had that since before Avast

It was probably one of your settings, firewall blocking something or other
