recently i launched tf2 and enabled my netgraph and noticed that all my interps are all screwed up. In my soldier class config i have "cl_interp 0.0152 then when launch my game, go in a server and play soldier my netgraph says my lerp is 25.0 so my interp was changed to 0.025

EDIT: Fixed, thanks bros

I know to in order to prevent abuse of interp changes while playing, you need to go spectator or disconnect from the server to change your interp. Not sure if respawning counts.

Okay hello.

I don't want to make a new thread on interp so I'll bump it here.

I usually get anywhere from 80-100 ping on servers and I'm really confused on what interp to use.

Please help me. :9

From Chris' config:

// Good connection
cl_cmdrate 66
cl_interp 0
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_lagcompensation 1
cl_pred_optimize 2
cl_smooth 0
cl_smoothtime 0.01
cl_updaterate 66
rate 60000

// Bad connection
//cl_cmdrate 40
//cl_interp 0
//cl_interp_ratio 2
//cl_lagcompensation 1
//cl_pred_optimize 2
//cl_smooth 0
//cl_smoothtime 0.01
//cl_updaterate 40
//rate 35000

IIRC Good connection was considered like ~60 or lower.

From Chris' config:
// Good connection
cl_cmdrate 66
cl_interp 0
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_lagcompensation 1
cl_pred_optimize 2
cl_smooth 0
cl_smoothtime 0.01
cl_updaterate 66
rate 60000

// Bad connection
//cl_cmdrate 40
//cl_interp 0
//cl_interp_ratio 2
//cl_lagcompensation 1
//cl_pred_optimize 2
//cl_smooth 0
//cl_smoothtime 0.01
//cl_updaterate 40
//rate 35000
