Hi,

So the other day i noticed i couldn't shift + tab in game anymore, as in, steam community would not appear. I went to task manager to see what was running and found that GameOverlayUI was not there. As far as i believe, GameOverlayUI is what runs the steam overlay (shift+tab) when in game. I want to know how i can get GameOverlayUI running again and get shift+tab back.

Things i have tried:

- Opening GameOverlayUI file through task manager - http://prntscr.com/4f9a5r
- Deleting everything in my steam folder, besides steamapps and steam.dll
- Restarting

None of the above have proved any luck.

Please help,thanks in advance!

Is it only when you're playing Tf2?
have you checked Settings > In-Game > Enable Steam overlay?

And make sure you're not participating in Steam Beta
