So I had all my programs on my website but here recently I haven't been able to keep a consistent enough connect via storms and stuff so its forced me to find alternatives. I decided to create a GitHub and put them all up on there. Currently only 4 on there, I plan on adding more.. maybe lol.

But yeah, if you have heard of my

A new program I am working on, yay!

So I've decided that there needs to be a more universal "Guide" or "Walkthrough" method/location/format. Or at least I would enjoy it more if there were...

So I have taken it upon myself to start this project in hopes that it will gather some momentum.

Here's some fancy pictures to look at.

Main GUI/Index Tab

http://i62.tinypic.com/cv7q.png

Main GUI/Index Tab While Using The Glossary

http://i62.tinypic.com/2eznuvo.png

Section (Part, Chapter, whatever you wish to call it)

http://i61.tinypic.com/zuqheh.png

Section (With picture button clicked)

http://i59.tinypic.com/aaekht.png

So what will hopefully happen is: I will create a forum where people can submit/request guides (I'll probably take some time and write up like.. 100 games just to get it started (Or just steal some off of GameFAQS and quote them in it))

And there will be a small learning curve to creating a guide, but a very, VERY small learning curve.

The only catch for it is that you will have to limit your lines to 90 words each, but I will make it simple for you to know when you reach said lines.

What I will do is create a separate program for you to either A: upload a .txt file with a guide already written up or B: you can free type it and it will force a new line every 90 characters. Then you just click a button and it writes it all into a new text document (An .ini to be specific) and when you start the program you see above, you will be prompted to load a guide and viola, your guide is loaded. This way you can download your guide you want and no longer rely on being online to view it. Also, you can have 100's of guides on your PC at a time in a non-cluttered format!

So yeah, what do you guys think so far? Think its worth investing some time in or should I stop being such a perfectionist?

Three new programs to add in to my Github.

A: Map Vetoer

A simple map veto system that maybe streamers can use to show the map veto process of a tournament and or set of matches. Neat thing about it is that it can save profiles of maps so if you use the same map set you can just save it and next time you launch you won't have to add in the map names.

B: On Screen Mouse Display

A simple on screen mouse display for a bit more interactive twitch experience for streamers to use.

Quickly launch an infinite amount of programs/websites with the click of a button. Uses personally-created profiles to fit your needs. Take a look at the video demo

New Program:

Twitchy

It allows you to assign a string of Emotes / Words to a Numpad number 0-9 and quickly paste it into chat. Obviously can be misused as a spammer (Not that people who spam need help with that, they do it anyways) I envisioned it more of a like... someone gets a new sub, Mods spams the channels main emote / their name ect.

Has an unlimited amount of profiles (Multiple streamers) and uses Numpad0-9 for 10 different key bindings.

Update!

Twitchy 2.0

Updated it to allow for custom text on the fly when pasting emotes / strings. This means that when you press a binding and you've enabled that binding to allow for a custom text it will ask what you want it to say and then paste the emotes and the custom text. Pretty significant IMO. Watch the video below for more information, if you watched the previous one fast forward to 4:15.

Playing games and stuff can sometimes lead to the game freezing ect. and you can't use your mouse properly or see anything. So I thought of this and figured I'd release it for anyone else who might want to try it.

Simply, it will allow you to kill the process of your active window.

Added a .rar for the Github since downloading the .zip didn't maintain the folder structure required.

Also updated the "Add Movie" and "Edit Movie" sections.

Looks like you've got some interesting ideas, and i'm glad you share them with us. I think it would be REALLY beneficial though if you're making these for anyone but yourself if you spent some time studying UI design. Your programs look like they were designed by a 13 year old goth kid.

I can see that but no, as of the moment and probably only by request I just write things that I need/think I'll use. And my favorite colors are red/black so that's kinda why everything is dark themed. But thanks for the words :)

Just as a question, do you mean the overall design or just the color scheme? Because IMO I do well enough with the layout but your comment just was relating to the color scheme. Always looking for criticism ect. so just curious.

Thanks!

Aim Training Game!

I did it just kind of as a learning experience but also because I wanted something that didn't require an internet connection.

Simply put, its a game to help your mouse accuracy ect.

Two main modes at the moment:

Classic Mode - Must hit 120 targets in 3:00. Difficulty goes up at 30 targets hit and 80 targets hit (Target gets smaller).
Twitch Mode - Hit as many targets as you can without missing 6 times.

Each mode can be played at 4 different difficulties.

Easy Difficulty - You have 1.8seconds to hit target (Counts as a miss)
Medium Difficulty - You have 1second to hit target (Counts as a miss)
Hard Difficulty - You have .8seconds to hit target (Counts as a miss)
Expert Difficulty - You have .6seconds to hit target (Counts as a miss)

Each one has its own results screen and tracks your best results in each game. Show's Hit/Miss/Total Targets/Accuracy

Hey guys.

I just started learning VB and wanted to recreate something I made in an earlier language that wasn't universal.

So I present to you: Twitch Watch 1.1 (Same as above in a way but not in a tray and cleaner)

Allows you to see what your followed channels are playing, including their game, title and viewer count. You can then launch the following quickly: Chat, Launch in Web Browser and Launch in VLC (Livestreamer)

It's nothing fancy, just a simple GUI. You can select Options > Refresh to refresh the list and to change/set your Username Options > Set Username.

On first load it'll ask you for your Username as well.

Once input you won't have to do it again.

v1.4 Decided to add in the previews as well. Not everyone will want this since it has to download the images to your C:/ProgramData but for 5 images it only takes up 75kbs, so its not bad lol.

So what doesn't "look good" about it?

It's not flashy but its clean and simple. No extras that aren't needed.
