Fixing Bball Sound?

Today I learned how to make videos using lawena so that I could render all my bball demos. For some reason the clip that I get does not have any sound effects except for the announcer. Is there any way to fix this?

EDIT: Realized that the sound effects were there, but very faint compared to the announcer voice. Is there any way to disable the announcer in lawena? The checkbox marked 'disable announcer voice' does not work.

It doesn't only affects demos, it does it in-game too

BBall has had this issue a very long time but I have no idea what causes it. Seems random.

For bball demos, when you have that problem go father back in the demo to a point where you die and get the deathcam. Something about going through the whole deathcam process restores sound in bball demos, at least for me.

Thanks man that works great! I suspect that this is an issue in bball because it has no freezecams, and that it hops in and out of freezecam mode so fast that sometimes it stays in freezecam mode, where the sound effects are greatly muted (but not the announcer for some reason?) Anyways thanks for the solution, hopefully SourceMod will fix this eventually :o)
