How to stop flicking?

Hello.
How do you guys stop yourself from flicking when your aim is tracking based?
I'm seriously curious, and this is the only one thing that bothers me a lot lately.
Even tho i'm running pretty low sensitivity (see pic below), i'm having problems getting rid of it.
Like, when it comes to scout 1v1 situation for some reason my hand is starting to go nuts, and i can't track the scout. Mostly i'm just flicking there, in that certain situation.
Is there anyone with the same question? How do you guys avoid random flicking?

Excuse my poor english and have a nice day.

Practice makes permanent. If your muscle memory is wanting you to flick then you'll have to force yourself not to flick if you want to stop.

Could be a lot of issues, you might not be used to the low sens and flick to compensate, you might've just practiced a lot of flicking which to break that play in a playstyle where flicking would be 100% unnecessary for awhile. Play pistol only for awhile, or play heavy on tr_walkway (seriously if you're still flicking with a minigun on predictable targets something is wrong)

I don't understand what this means. Everyone has to "flick." Unless you know every single movement the scout is going to make you can't just trace your crosshair over him because he moves so fast.

I mean that i can't hit my shots well when i'm flicking. I'm hitting them when i'm tracking.
So, do you mean that flicking + tracking combination is completely okay thing to have?

Thanks for responces so far!

I would say the only way to aim is a combination of tracking and flicking or somewhere in between. However against scouts with better dm it's really easy to let your technique slip and just flick randomly and hope for the best.

When this happens, take your time with shots, try to engage at long range so they're easier to hit reliably, and only shoot when your shots are likely to hit (and get your roamer/scout buddy to help you out!).

What you're doing is panicking and letting the fire rate of the gun dictate your aiming.

When your gun is ready to fire the next round your crosshairs aren't lined up on the target. What you're doing is panicking and flicking in a desperate attempt to get your crosshair on target in time before your next shot is ready.

What you need to do is slow down and take your time. Of course, this will result in you dying a lot if your movement isn't better than your opponent's aim, but that's all part of getting better.

After you have fired your first shot, fight the urge to shoot your next shot as soon as possible. Take your time, and line up your shot. Don't rush, don't try to force it, just wait until your opponent is in a position where you know your shot will land. This means waiting longer in between each shot and taking the time to properly aim. You won't be doing the max DPS of your gun, but it will result in a better accuracy.

mjust click on the bad dudes dont worry about how it happens

I wish this was a joke. Scout dm and scout v scout in particular became much easier when I stopped thinking about how the enemy was moving in front of me and just worried about clicking when my crosshair touched his model. And honestly, just playing more will give you the confidence and muscle memory that will be the biggest factors. DM mod and tr_newbots will help with both respectively, although I warn you that the movement of the bot in tr_newbots encourages flick aim and is almost impossible to track
