That wouldn't be suspicious at all regularly, but given that there were a lot of hackers banned recently it becomes even less suspicious. Honestly if he didn't rank up at least a bit in the last 2 weeks I would be surprised.

ranking up silver 1 through DMG is relatively easy, especially compared to ranking up eagle+; most times any ranking up above eagle takes like 5+ consecutive wins or so
