Heyo, my shitty gaming headsets broke and I have been looking to get a new pair of headphones and buy a mic separately, but I only have a budget of 40-70 bucks (cad). So, I was thinking of getting either the Superlux HD 681 or Monoprice 108323 but i don't know shit about headphones so if anyone with some experience can suggest some good ones, that would be sick.

Also probably gonna get the zalman clip on mic since that seems like it worked for most ppl.

I was in the same boat as you, and I ended up buying a pair of JVC HA-RX700 after reading that they got some of the best reviews for the price point. They're pretty comfortable (from what I've read more than the 681's) and sound pretty good, although they are a little heavy. Careful if you are getting a Zalman clipon, since the JVC's that I got have a thicker cord that doesn't like clipon mics.

I've used the monoprice ones, they are pretty good for the price, they however, are quite tight fitted and not very comfortable for long usage. 6.5/10.

@Thoxo that one looks pretty awesome, with the 681's being a bit costlier than the ones u suggested and having treble problems, I am probably gonna go with the JVC HA-RX700 for now

@DanceNumber Yea, its probably amazing for the price but if i can go uptop around 60 bucks i think i would be able to get something much better

Any other suggestions before i finalize my decision?

hyperx cloud are pretty good, you can get a pair for about 60 bucks. Sound quality is really good and the mic is decent too.

actually lower end sennheiser models arent that great, and are usually more expensive that other headphones with better performance.

Alright so after digging in a bit, it seems like Superlux HD668B are the best ones in the price range. Also a removable cable seems like a nice thing to have since pretty much 90 percent of the time, my headphones break cause of the cable (plus it comes with 2 cables so thats even better). Anything wrong with my choice?
