Interesting that Lunatik is partnered with Sloth Esports, which is the same company EVL is partnered with.

I have no idea if this means anything, probably not, but kinda neat.

#17 Faint Gaming upset EVL 5-3 in TF2 General Discussion

Apparently Rando was playing Engineer for a lot of the match, so that would do it. Still a nice surprise, especially since it's the org's first time in TF2.

#5 ESEA S25 W1: Hibbleton vs. High Altitude Dreamworld in Matches

As of yesterday Vand told me this roster, however he did mention it wasn't set in stone. Will update the post as more info comes.

#1 ESEA S25 W1: Hibbleton vs. High Altitude Dreamworld in Matches

It should be noted that the team called "hibbleton" is labled as "Faint Gaming TF2" on ESEA. This team is NOT sponsored by Faint Gaming, and is not going by that name, but I believe they're having trouble changing their name and tag on ESEA.

e: Teams are now correctly named on ESEA

#15 TFTV NA Weekly Series #1 Powered by FACEIT in TF2 General Discussion
ShearsWhy isn't this visible on the TF2 "Tournaments" page on FACEiT? Is it TFTV exclusive or something? I don't know, it's just kinda strange that the only way to access it seems to be through the link on this post.

Seems fine to me? http://imgur.com/a/ymLn8

weird that it's there twice but clicking on either brings you to the same page

#20 What are you planning to do next week? in Off Topic

Starting the week with a calculus exam on logs and trig, followed by an essay on Mosquito Coast. After that probably trying to make sure we have all the casters and producers for the FACEIT tournament on Friday (assuming we'll have access to stv's for that. Not confirmed but probably). Then casting said tournament, and sometime in that trying to find time to hang with IRL friends.

Oh and I should probably make sure i have nice cloths cuz I'm graduating in like 2 weeks.

OH and also I reinstalled pokemon go because it's no longer -30 outside and there's a rock event this week so probably trying to find time to play that.

#59 Sigafoo and RGL.gg presents - Uncle Dane vs Stabby in TF2 General Discussion
ScrambledITT: more entitled 6s players thinking that this format is either aimed at them as a replacement for 6s or a direct threat to 6s.

downfrag me cus im right

Nobody with half a mind thinks Sigafoo's 7v7 is a threat to 6s. It won't take a year before this format once again fades into irrelevancy.

#116 teamfortress.tv is looking for talent! in TF2 General Discussion

Would like to bump that teamfortress.tv is still looking for a few more casters for next season of ESEA. We are primarily looking for people to do colour casting which requires good knowledge of the game, and ideally experience in ESEA Invite or IM. We are also considering taking in a few more play by play casters or producers if we find people with enough experience who want to help out.

So if you have either played at a high level or have previous experience as a caster/producer, and you want to help out your community, please add me here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/interoasting Thanks!

#93 How long have you been around? in Off Topic

I started playing in March of 2013 when I was 13 years old because I watched Nilesy from the Yogscast play it on his youtube channel. (4 years ago)

I started competitive by playing in and casting UGC Iron Highlander Season 16, which started in June 2015. (2 years ago)

I started getting involved with these forums and ESEA in June of 2016 when I started doing casts of ESEA Open. (1 year ago oh god why did I spend an entire year playing highlander?)

I was invited to join tftv as a caster by Truktruk on September 5th 2016 :)

birdanonymousI'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to self-advertise on here so I didn't post like this again after this. Anyone confirm? I didn't get contacted by mods though.

You're fine. That rule is mostly to stop companies from spamming the forums with bullshit, not to target small channels who are actually creative and doing cool stuff. I mean I literally started on these forums by spamming my youtube channel on the open happenings thread and then they made me a mod so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
