#11 I58 Seat Picker (Live @ 5pm BST 04/05/2016) in LAN Discussion
DeatH_DZestySeems you can't reserve seats yet as the multiplay account's event booking system is still tied to eventbrite but the tickets to i58 were done through the ticket factory. Hopefully it will work when they say tomorrowYou mean this?

DeatH_DMaxi-If the preview picture is the same as the final, then TF2 is pretty much next to the grand stage, should be hypeit's not, they are doing it in different halls, tho layout could be similar, dont take my word for it.

Where did you find this out?

For those that don't know the Insomnia 58 seat picker was meant to be out today (28/04/2016) but it has been delayed....

"We apologise for the delay…our #i58 seat picker will be live next week! Here’s a sneak peak of the seating chart!"

WARHURYEAHomniInsomnia event security is pretty tight, honestly. They check all bags, plastic, backpacks, whatever. You could get a mouse or something stolen, sure, and that would suck, but your computer? Not likely. Not ruling it out completely, but you're 99.9% safe leaving your PC.

Hell, one time I didn't lock my computer and some dude I didn't know who didn't play tf2 locked it for me instead of trying to steal my virtual pixel hats.

iSeries is a good place to be.

Not exactly saying this is 100% correct but I have been able to leave the area every time I go without a sticker on a PC or laptop.

It isn't 100% safe by any means at all but it doesn't mean that people go around nicking shit, to get in to the BYOC areas you have to have a weekend pass I think now, so you can only steal a PC or laptop if you paid for a full weekend ticket.

Just take anything that you can take back with you as well. But I've not had anything nicked but I have had a friend that has had a mouse and headset stolen.

Yeah i'm planning to unplug my mouse, headset and keyboard and take them with me when I live for the night.

It's just that feeling you have in the back of your head, "You know its unlikely that something would happen but what if it did"

HobNobsI went last year with possibly the heaviest computer and screen ever made, that seemed to deter everyone.

Was it a Old CRT monitor?

ProSkeezThe biggest thing about security for anything is, if someone really wants it they'll get it. It's all about making it difficult for someone to do it. Zip tying the holes where the thumbscrews go will make it pretty hard for someone to open it without making a scene.

+ I saw this thing on the kensington website that looks like it could be what you're looking for - http://www.kensington.com/us/us/v/7330/1892/desktop-pc-peripheral-locking-kits

Thank you ProSkeez I'm probably going to buy one of the Kensington loops and see if that answered part of my question.

The Zip Ties is a good idea I had but I don't have a loop/hole in my case and side-panel to feed it in a tie it. I suppose I could try and drill a small hole in my case to do this but I don't have much clearance with the width of the metal.
