Paul's post is full of truthful statements. I have decided to step down from both competitive TF2 and moderating this website (hence why I changed my name back to black). I have tried being mentored a handful of times and retained very little from it. I lack the gamesense and general awareness that this game requires to make any kind of reasonable progress as a player, and have decided that I want to spend my time doing different things. I appreciate the opportunity that Zanda and Paul have given me on this team and I hope they are able to find a good roamer to finish off this season.
My post, while I thought was accurate, and was my perspective, was just incorrect. It came from a place of butthurt because while Paul's frustrations were wholly warranted, the conversation after losing week 4a was far less diplomatic than “You need to leave.” It was personal and while it was exactly what needed to be said, it hurt my feelings.
I am glad that we all got to enjoy poking fun at me, and I hope everyone has a good season.
fun team if you can get past paul brainwashing new players into using the archaic and objectively bad way he thinks the game should be played. it takes 20 seconds minimum to decide what door to walk through, pablo dies in almost every fight to no fault of his own (usually), scream, zanda, and sleepy are all super nice with pretty strong dm.
roaming on this team was awful because it never allowed me to focus on watching flank or going for plays. i was constantly rotating to combo in an attempt to keep our medic alive.
i really wouldn’t recommend this team to anyone who wants to try to improve because nothing you will have to do will translate to any other team you play for, unless paul is on it.
its nothing personal, i really think everyone on this roster is super fucking cool, but they are probably not leaving the bottom 5 without some serious adjustments
