#4 Need help with PC build in Hardware

I would suggest the ASUS VG248QE as a 144hz monitor. There aren't many differences between that and a BenQ, for only $250 +/-.

Edit: It also often goes on sale on Amazon so you could snatch one for $240 or less if you're lucky.

#4 PC build for a friend in Hardware

An 850w PSU seems a little overkill. I think 700w would be fine.

Measure from the inside of the case from the rear side to the drive bays. Then check the GPU details to see the width of it.

GTX 660. Or you could pay 50 dollars more for a GTX 760 which is comparable to a GTX 670 for much less money.

there is no need for jump servers anymore
I copied that into console and nothing happened.

You'll need sv_cheats 1.

Ninja'd.

#8 New Build is ready to order, one last check? in Hardware

Maybe downgrade to a 770 and then invest in a nicer ATX case, more RAM, etc.

#10 Help making a pc in Hardware
Lucky9788thanks for the help here is the computer i build so far
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1g4Rd
two more question
1) what optical drive should i get
2) is this a good build should I invest more on anything or less on something?

my range is between 700 to 900

Not familiar with optical drives, you should probably research a little.

You can get a PSU with much higher wattage for less than the PSU you chose. I would recommend the Corsair CX 600W.

What kind of games will you be playing?

You can use www.pcpartpicker.com to compile your parts and it will tell you if the parts are compatible.

You can also use www.logicalincrements.com to see recommended parts, descriptions of each part, etc.

#12 Frag Video in TF2 General Discussion

The colors and intro were okay, though I think you should take put the HUD except for maybe the pyro frag since you had one health. You can also put a frag like that near the end so it would seem more consistent.

#5 HUD editing help in Q/A Help

In SpectatorTournament.res, there's a part called "respawntime" & "respawntimebg". I assume you could just copy-paste those two parts into Spectator.res, and then do whatever you want with it, though I might be wrong.
