#6 People from Los Angeles in Off Topic

LACMA and the Hammer Museum are two other great options for art lovers. The Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade are two great places to meet people, with tons of restaurants and stores on 3rd street. Disneyland and Universal Citywalk are two other popular places for tourists, you can also take a hike to the Hollywood sign if you're interested. Hope you enjoy your stay!

#676 Show your HUD modifications! in Customization
_VikGot a bit bored so I threw together a small edit of ya hud. I kind of wanted to recreate this hud, I don't know how Skappa was able to get the thick borders around the health and ammo though.

i'm pretty sure he used an outline on the font itself in clientscheme.res rather than using shadows

i liked it. a little too many shakes on that third clip of the demo in my opinion, but i enjoyed it overall. i feel like having this style of video before the events in the next tip of the hats would be really awesome!

#8 chriz crosshair --> skhud in Q/A Help
bumbleyo i cant open the .rar and by more updated hud what do you mean? does it look the same?

The hud's completely the same, but the owner (skappa) fixed/updated broken things and whatnot. To open the .rar download a free extracting program like winrar or 7-zip

All you need to do is install the hud. The dot is enabled by default.
P.S. I used a more updated version of the hud, I hope you don't mind :)

#8 Hud Crosshair Help? in Q/A Help

The fgcolor of the box is most likely 255 255 255 255. The first numbers are what make up the color white. The last color is transparency, so change that from 255 to a number between 0-255 to your liking. To still have the square be on top of everything, make sure the zpos is higher than the zpos of the other crosshairs. For example, if the cross's zpos was 4 and the wings's zpos was 3, edit the zpos of the square to be 5 or higher. Hope this helped!

NoophAnyone know if there's another HUD from scratch guide anywhere? Rad's guide linked in one of the first few posts isn't working.

#77 HOWTO: Use yz50/clockwork KonrWings in any HUD in Customization
asaptf2I'm using broeselhud with 16:10 and 1680x1050, but I can't figure out how to actually get the crosshair in broesel with 1680x1050, is it impossible?, and btw I can't get me resolution to 1920x1080. Help?

If you're using the latest version of broeselhud (2.7), broesel included the wings in the hud. Just open up hudlayout.res and scroll down to the last crosshair entry that should be titled wings or something like that. Then set visible to 1, and increase/lower the size by changing the font. Hope this helped!
