unintended benefit of this update seems to be the ability to run 2k hz polling without dropping frames/stuttering. But still no go on 4k for me.

TeoOn dxlevel 95, dxvk seems to give better frames. All anecdotal, too lazy to grab a benchmark. To my eyes the demos i checked ran a sight better than on just dx95 and 64bit

i think its also implementation dependent because my friends keychron m4 can't even do 2k
I'm assuming frame drops as soon as the mouse moves? Moving the mouse USB port to its own controller fixed my issues.

turbochad69Seems as though the july 25th update broke playback of most or all demos recorded prior to it, so far the workarounds are to use an earlier version of the game or to use the pre_07_25_23_demos branch which can be selected under the betas tab in game properties
until valve fix it the workaround is..
Search your custom folder for a "tf_weapon_"
Only one will be applied if there are duplicates. If the VPK is unpacked you can see it is the same weapon description files.

Per weapon crosshairs will use these files to set its crosshair but so will the no explosion script. So you'll need to modify one of the files yourself.
It's easy to do if you have per weapon crosshairs.
