It seems like people are missing the point through.

Anybody who used lmaobox on their main account got their main account banned.
Anybody who used lmaobox on alts got their alt account banned, and if they didn't use lmaobox in their main account / link their alt/main, then their main account will not be banned. (Yes, even if you use the same IP on both accounts.)

Everyone uses their "main" account to play competitive TF2, so if the sniper in your 6 months old UGC match isn't banned right now, you can be sure he is clean.

The overwhelming majority of hackers use lmaobox in order to look as legit as possible when playing competitive . It is (was) the most logical choice and you can try to play the devil's advocate by saying "there are other hacks that are as good and they could have been using them" It is not acurate and very unlikely.. so you can stop with this argument. Especially if you don't know what you're talking about ;)

If you used lmaobox on X steam account 1 year ago, X steam account will get VAC banned.
The "injection" method you used 1 year ago has leftovers.

Similarly, in the Olympics anti-cheating protocol, they keep the athletes' blood sample for multiple years following their competition.
This is to ensure that, if an athlete is using a drug that doesn't have a test for it the year they compete in, eventually the testing procedures will be improved and will cover a wider array of drugs, and therefore a same sample can pop clean in 2010, and dirty in 2015.

The only way to get away with murder here is to have an alt account and onlyinject the hack while the hl2.exe process is active on this alt account.
In some instances, you can even get even your "main" account linked to your cheating alt and get both of them VAC banned, for example if you shared one game between the two accounts via Steam Family Sharing, if you linked the two accounts to the same phone number, or something equally as idiotic.

Anyone who didn't get VAC banned in this particular wave, I personally feel very safe to say they are completely clean and have never used a hack in their life, simply because lmaobox was so far ahead of any other hacks on the market.
I would go as far as saying other hacks didn't even come close to lmaobox, both in terms of functionalities and quality.
