Yeah that's true. I feel like part of the reason Q3 was so good was because the engine was really smooth, and since it's old, was somewhat lighter weight than any more recent engine could be; same thing with CS 1.6 vs Source / GO.
Although most Valve/id games still feel smooth, they are in general more clunky than their older counterparts. Maybe it's due to more engine overhead or something?
I think they need to make a clean Quake 5 that takes more of what Q3A great.
Whoops, sorry about that. It should be a bit clear now.
Also, anyone interested in joining a pug team for the CEVO S1 for Dota 2?
I'm a part of the TF2 Dota 2 Pug Group, but we don't really do anything. Anyone interested in doing some 5 stacks or in houses sometime?
Okay, we got a Medic, thanks everyone!
slipzisn't it supposed to be Every Villain is Lemons.
Yes.
Excuse me, I made roaming an art form, I deserve to be stubborn.
Nah jk, I'm still getting back into the groove of things, I am definitely not stubborn about stuff like that. Cash is just mad because he sat too hard on the couch
Hey guys,
I got roped into joining this team by none other than C4$h50 and now I find myself in the leader position for some ridiculous reason. In any case, we need either a Medic, Pocket Soldier, or a Demoman for our roster. Poolshark and Cash can basically fill any of these roles themselves, so we basically just need someone to fill a role.
Requirements: Don't be a raging, insufferable shitlord. Please know the basics of competitive TF2 and not have to go over low level stuff on a daily basis. Have an open attitude and be willing to take criticism gracefully.
Roster:
Medic - Logic
Pocket - Poolshark
Demo - Couchmaster Cash
Roamer - Panzer
Scouts - JJP and TOMBOM
We are playing in ESEA-O, so please be able to pay fees.
I like the Corsair M60/65 personally, one of the best mice I've ever used with Corsair quality on top to boot.
I think there's a few different ways to be a "good" streamer:
1. Be a personality - Have a unique persona that you become when you stream
2. Be good - Be really good, bring something to the table that the average viewer won't be able to
3. Offer good insight - Explain your reasoning for things, or offer deep insight into plays, etc.
4. Lure people in with free shit - Don't actually deserve viewers but get them just by offering a chance to win something
