#1 CSGO Optimal Net Settings? in Other Games

Does cs have any optimal net setting different from the default? Like interp, rate, etc. I know this was something mildly important for tf2 so curious if the same thing applies for csgo.

#17 which 144hz? in Hardware

I think the point is that your graphics card is irrelevant. You could have a 1050 or two 1080s in SLI and it literally won't make a difference in which monitor you buy if you get more than 144 fps. If you get less than that, you might want to reconsider getting a 144hz. If you get more than that, what gfx card you have is irrelevant and shouldn't matter. The only thing that matters at that point is price range and maybe features.

#4 help me pls tf2 project for my cs a level in Projects

I'm pretty sure they're plugins installed on the server that pull their data there. There's not really a post-match api to pull data similar to what dota has

#18 ESEA seems to care in TF2 General Discussion

Sandbagging is probably one of the biggest problems. It's not fun for anyone to get 5-0'd in 15 minutes, and there's really nothing to be learned from games like that. Open every season has like 3-4 teams who definitely could play in higher divs but choose not to. If those players were incentivized to actually move up then maybe teams would feel more open to playing Open.

For me I think the most rewarding part of playing open is this idea that if you put 1-2 seasons of practice in and work hard with your team you have a shot at winning the division. Not everyone has that drive but some really strong competitive players are gonna be born who have that vision. However, when you grind hard for 2 seasons but in playoffs get matched against 6 people who could be on a winning IM team but choose to play open so they don't have to put effort in, its super disheartening because that grind of 2 seasons now turns into a lot more and it just doesn't feel the same. Maybe this is a motivation issue from the sandbaggers and I'm not sure how to fix that.

pendaIron man has to die in this right?

Yeah Iron man will probably die in movie 2 somewhere and they'll bring out someone new eventually to play the character after

#16 avengers infinity war in Music, Movies, TV

I think that Infinity War will be interesting just because I can't think of a movie that has this amount of buildup or star power behind it. Not saying the movie will be great but I can't think of any other film with like 9-10 stars who have all led their own movies and done well, not to mention the numerous supporting cast members who are also huge names.

Plus I can't think of a movie with such buildup from so many different story lines. The MCU has had 18 movies before IW which is nuts.

I just looked it up and theres 30 big name stars in this film. Gonna be unprecedented really.

If you get rid of scout what do you replace it with. There's no other class that could be fun to play and good throughout the whole game

#14 How to make PugChamp better in TF2 General Discussion

I feel like waiting for picks isn't the biggest time sink. Whenever I'm waiting for a second pug to start after a first it feels like the system takes forever to start up the first game and then move onto the second. If the system could start drafting/readying for a second pug quickly after a first pug and not 5 minutes later that could cut down on time between games at peak times

#242 ESEA-O S25 Happenings/Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

Yeah sorry about that. Wasn't playing or following the scene last season so most of this was just guesswork + looking at teams ESEA pages. Future weeks should be more about play and specific matches so this shouldn't be an issue going forward

Preseason/Week 1 Power Rankings:
This is going to be an interesting season in Open for sure. With the divisions being merged now look for a lot more interesting matchups, and potentially a lot of close games between top Open and formerly low/mid IM teams. Additionally, this merge makes power rankings a lot more confusing and difficult, so we’ve added a second ranking for purely pre-merge open rosters, so that hopefully some newer teams get some recognition as well. I might have missed most of the roster changes, or made some mistakes, so apologies for that. Huge shoutout to Dyl4n for the rankings and all the work you did helping put this together, and thanks to radium and luhsee for their help making this happen.
Although they might not be the most accurate, here are the preseason/week 1 power rankings for Open S25:

1. Mind over Mongo
Not much of a surprise here, the team that went 14-2 in IM last season and placed third in playoffs takes the top spot on our preseason rankings. Look for this team to continue their dominance again this season, especially now that the divisions are merged.

2. Muscle March
Another team that did fantastic in IM last season making playoffs with a 13-3 regular season. Making only a few roster changes in the offseason, look for Muscle March to dominate the first two weeks with a relatively easy schedule.

3. The Sparkle Gang
Yet another team that made IM playoffs last season, finishing with a 10-6 record and hopefully looking to improve and become a contender this season for the top spot. Week one looks relatively easy for this team, but week two contains a match against Mind over Mongo so keep your eyes peeled for what should be an exciting match.

4. dug1
After finishing 8-8 last season, this team has made some roster changes that make them look very competitive this season. Being scheduled against four pre-merge open teams in the first two weeks means this team will probably be off to a decent start. Look for this team to cruise into weeks two and three with a pretty good standing.

5. mr_popo
This team is sort of an enigma. I’m sure some scrim partners know the whole roster, but when JohnMilter was asked about his team’s roster he said it’s “classified”. As rankings mastermind Dyl4n said, “Any team with those players will pound”. Look for mr_popo to have an easy first week and put up some impressive numbers.

6. moonlightDive
Another rare team on our rankings that was not in IM last season, although they did make Open playoffs and go 1-1. Featuring some strong and notable players, this team is poised to do well this season. Look for their abilities to get tested this week in their match against Jojos bizarre adventure, and see if they can prove that they deserve a high spot in these rankings.

7. OBAMACARE DEATHCAMP
This team has an interesting name, and with only a few roster changes will look to redeem themselves after just missing the cutoff for playoffs last season. Their first match of the season will be against S24 Open 5th place Power Surge, so look to that game as an early test of this team’s ability.

8. BLANC Lite
Although this team struggled in IM last season, they have changed up their roster, trading out 3 players in hopes of a stronger showing this season. This team has some matches against notable opponents in the first two weeks, so we will look to see if they have actually improved or if they will continue to struggle in this upcoming season.

9. THE ZONE
This recently formed team is looking very strong with some extremely strong players on their roster. They will get a FFW for their first match against dead team, Hot Pink Grills, but pay attention to their second process match where they will face BigBrain JaguarFiend’s team. With everyone on THE ZONE offclassing, look for this game to potentially be a close one.

10. no god just grapeSquad
Rounding out the list is no god just grapeSquad. Although this is a newly formed roster, this team has a lot of potential to succeed this season. This team should have two fairly easy first wins this week, but looking ahead to week two may struggle to prove themselves as a top contender this season.

Match of the Week:
OBAMACARE DEATHCAMP vs Power Surge

Pre-Merge Open Top 10 (Maybe writeups in the future):
1. mr_popo
2. THE ZONE
3. no god just grapeSquad
4. Ben’s Cafeteria
5. Hotter Dads
6. aubrey plaza fanclub
7. crashed out
8. circle bread
9. faggot food
10. 6 Guys Burgers and Spies
