Before even reading this thread, this is about what I said to myself when watching the trailer, only difference being the dude with the hammer is just a big demoknight with the medics MvM shield.

I wonder if Blizzard is purposely aiming for the TF2 audience. The casual TF2 scene is still really big, and would be a good jumping off point for the game. I'm sure Blizzard would love to get back at Valve for the whole Dota 2 fiasco, if only a little.

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the seemingly new Arena Respawn mode. It was brought to my attention via extvs youtube (Part 1 and Part 2 with PArt 3 coming later), showing a 5v5 invite pug using the format.

For those of you who don't know, 5v5 AR is Arena mode with all weapons and all classes unlocked, a fully open whitelist. Each team may ban one class, which both teams must then follow. You do not respawn on death, but your team capping the point will respawn all the dead players for their team at once.

I've found it incredibly entertaining to watch (Its a constant midfight), and would really like to see more content using this format. Whats your thoughts? I'd love to hear what the invite players from the above videos think as well.

Get a custom one from Sager if you know what parts are what. Great customization and absolute beastly machines for a fair price. If you want to do some gaming on it or in general want to make it your main machine, you'll want at least a decent GPU in it. Here's my recommendation, but be sure to check out the rest of what they have to offer.

When I come to tf.tv what I really want is a completely off topic discussion about other peoples life choices that effect no one else whatsoever except maybe a single extra keystroke to be remotely respectful.

Valve has suddenly decided sniper rifles are an objective of theirs.

I disagree. Look how old this game is, I mean really, the fact Valve is still giving it attention is a godsend. The longer we have Valves attention, the longer the game stays alive.

If you're putting yourself in a position where 3 other snipers are staring you down and you're trying to MLG them you have more problems then not being able to jump.

At least now Hitbox will get a few viewers.

And its little things like that, that make having a TF2 world championship worth having. It gets attention and it gets people talking.
