very good at solly mechanically, awesome teammate, reliable and consistent. super nice guy, never tilts. what more can you ask for? it was a pleasure to play with soala, he'd be a great pickup for your team :>
frosttyiii sure do love controversial bans that serve to do nothing but divide the community and push them away from rgl :DDD
this isn't even a controversial ban, it is such an obviously incompetent overstepping of bounds that I would love to see anybody involved publicly explain how stifling any sort of exposure for an already small league and discouraging content creation by the community could possibly be beneficial in any way
zx37Does RGL actually provide any infrastructural resources of any kind other than a poorly designed website with a payment processing and distribution system?
Like the old argument for staying with ESEA was that they at least nominally provided servers and anticheat. Do RGL have any dedicated match servers, or a licensed anticheat? Obviously there's a ton of work that's been put into staff, rules, scheduling, etc, but none of that is physical or proprietary.
I get they have a lot of established value but there's nothing actually licensed is there? All their official statements ("Banned in RGL Scrim") talk like they have ESEA-esque match/scrim servers, but I've never actually seen one.
a new league could be set up fairly simply, the most difficult part would be having a main driver or group willing and capable of organizing everything, and most importantly, having everyone buy in and switch over uniformly. especially being such a small community, we don't want to get into a half in/half out scenario where the community is split between leagues or you risk fizzling out the entire comp scene by attrition. if you had some basic infrastructure to start with and full buy in from the most influential teams/players (& maybe even some crazy luxuries like dedicated servers) the rest would fall into place and everybody else (players, casters, production teams etc) would migrate over and you'd kill RGL. easier said than done, but if the motivation is there it can certainly be done
team died, add me if you're as desperate as I am in need of a scout
Incredibly tragic to hear, rest in peace. Seeing everyone's grief and words of praise truly brings home how much yomps' presence reverberated throughout our tight knit community, and shows how deeply he affected others through his character and good spirit. Let's hope this outpouring of love and support reaches his loved ones and family so they can possibly find some semblance of solace in how universally well respected, admired, and cherished he was to so, so many people.
Been using it for the past month or so, quality mouse. In terms of similar shapes, I've tried both the Logitech G Pro Wireless and Zowie S1 and ended up preferring the Endgame XM1. The shape is simple and unobtrusive, it's very light, and the new version comes with a stock paracord (make sure you get the right one). It really is a great value and one of the best mice to come along in a while imo, I would recommend giving it a try.
i'm looking for a spot on an IM-Main team as scout. i can play sun-thurs and want to improve as a player and a team, open to criticism and willing to put in the work. mostly a hl player but i have a season of 6's and used to pug, came back to tf2 after a hiatus and i'm looking to play seriously.

atiderelet me remind you this is the kid who also cried on a video "apologizing" to the community. emotionally unstable bitch.
Everyone has their own internal issues and problems they're dealing with. Making fun of somebody for posting a video of themselves breaking down shows real immaturity on your part. Say what you want about his personality, my brother has more balls than you ever will.
DavidTheWinIf you have a blue yeti there might be an output on the microphone itself for self-monitoring. Might just be a feature on the yeti pro though.
There is, yup. How would this work? Could I still hear the game audio in my headphones?
SetsulI know it's not helping, but why did you get closed headphones if you wanted open headphones?
I never said I did. I still have, and will use, my old pair of open-air Audio Technica's if need be. I wanted the Beyerdynamic's because of the bass that open-air headphones lack.
Air_he didn't realize how much not hearing himself talk would mess with his ability to not sound like a mouth breathing monkey
Air has mastered the art of farming +frags at my expense. It's something he takes great pride in.
SetsulWell I guess now you know why buying headphones blind isn't a good idea.
I didn't buy them blind. You should stop assuming, that's twice now.
joejoe347This might work: http://www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-2120882/create-good-side-tone-microphone-headphones.html
I wouldn't recommend using asio drivers, they usually end up causing a lot of problems.
Probably not helpful but my logitech sound drivers have an option to listen to yourself with no delay, but afaik they don't work with other devices.
Thanks Joe, I'll look into that thread.
