treetoonI've always thought hats were really annoying, but I realized that actually I don't mind the ones that fit the TF2 universe which is set in the 60's during the nuclear age and cold war. It's a dark comedy sharing extreme similarities to the film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. Soldier's stash is a great example of an acceptable hat whereas pirate related hats and cosmetics like the Fairy Wings for heavy is I think when people had enough.

90% of the cosmetics are garbage, but some are actually alright; medals for example. I realize this is purely for FPS but it'd be interesting to see a version that catered to the original style of the game.

i can see this getting rather subjective at times (what counts as fitting the art style and what doesn't), so for more custom builds (is that the right word?) like this i recommend learning how to modify the vpk yourself, it's quite simple actually.

I've actually seen this before, but I never got around to testing it in itemtest because I don't own these hats D: Individually, they seem to be fine but I'm not sure if it's the combination of the two or a certain style or if something else is up

The biggest impact for this is with spies; getting around someone on a diagonal approach is much easier than on a
"head on" approach.

Honestly i have no idea if the nerf to switch speed was really needed. It's not actually a big deal, but it raises the question as to why you would nerf the degreaser in this matter, only to buff the damage and still make stock totally not viable? Makes no sense to me. No sure what Valve tried to accomplish here if stock is still garbo.

I suppose Valve is trying to steer the class toward a more flamethrower-centric playstle, which I really don't have an opinion on. What I do care about is how easy it is to aim the flamethrower. It's not quite as braindead as some people make it out to be, but it's still pretty braindead. Maybe a flamethrower lg will make this class more skill-indexed and hopefully removes the skill-less image it possesses now.

Just remove the garbage stunlock on every airblast (not just consecutive ones) and I'll be happy. Also we'll see how many "pyro mains" quit because they can't actually aim and play the game 8).

Added an image to represent player ping values instead of the actual ping values. Added an option in Adv. Options to use the actual ping values.

Not sure i follow, is this like net_graph vs. scoreboard ping?

Eliminated many cases of hitching when using painted weapons
Eliminated occasional hitching caused by using mat_picmip 2 (or selecting low quality textures in Video Options -> Advanced)
Massively reduced memory consumption when using painted weapons

I CAN PLAY WITH SKINS ON???

Fixed two most common forms of framerate stuttering / hitching when using popular FPS configs
