GrapeJuiceIIIearly in the summer of 2017, late one night i joined the domthewhiteguy mumble looking for people to hang out with. yomps was in there, hanging out with someone. uninvited - i joined their channel and started talking to them while immediately feeling bad that i just joined (essentially) 2 strangers' conversation. to my anxiety-ridden surprise, yomps was incredibly welcoming, and asked me what i was up to and stuff like that. i ended up hanging out with them for like 2 hours that night, listening to stories of rando getting tilted while playing on the Ascent minecraft server and etc. unfortunately that was the only time I ever talked to yomps, as i didnt have the courage to talk to him at rewind 2.
i shared this story at LAN to a couple people and i wish i told it publicly after the news broke of his death. i guess i was worried i wasnt friends with him so my experience with him didnt count, or something like that. good timing for you to make this thread to give me an excuse to put this out there.
i dont want your escape plan btw.
this is so on point. he was this dude.
I just want to spread the light he had without being corny or whatever.
