While I think 10+ minutes stalemates are a problem, this ruleset turns everything into a bunch of chaotic endless dm that isn't even that fun to watch tbh. Of course it's not random dm as fast decision making and team coordination are important more than ever, but I really felt like the extra fast pace was actually more boring than a slow or a traditional one.
Also, no timer and 3 minutes for each cap take away a part of the game that, like it or not, is just as interesting as going 100 miles per hour: slowing the game down and being able to face teams that are better than yours in terms of fast pace/raw dm/whatever. It completely removes a huge part of how you could potentially play a match.
Of course froyo are so good they would've still won with traditional ruleset, but this is the kind of gamestyle where they always excelled.
Golden Cap should work similar to EU imo, it's just the best option.
I think trying to find the perfect balance between boring infinite stalemates and just as equally boring lightspeed back and forth TF2 speedrun should be the way to go

Very controversial, FIA are clowns, but I will admit I'm glad Verstappen won and I think he deserves it overall. Props to Hamilton for being an absolute beast as usual, even tho he was back driving a spaceship in the last part of the season, so much better than any other car on the grid

100% agreed, although I don't think adding 5 place penalty to the current one would change much. 90% of Hamilton overtakes were on the main straight, some of them didn't even require DRS. It felt like Mercedes were racing in F1 and the rest of the cars on the grid were brought in from F2, the superiority was embarassing

I admit I have a lot of fun (ab)using it, but...
It's an insanely good weapon that also happens to be incredibly easy to use, and it takes the skill away from the player who's getting spooned. All of this makes it overpowered and unfair, imo.
Then again, things change when talking about top-level competition, which is why only very few people through tf2 comp history were able to use it effectively in playoffs/grand finals (see dd5f, nubbi and of course above all jay).

I'm so happy they're sticking together man, beating froyo was an incredible achievement but that potential "1 and done" would have been such a letdown for Invite competitiveness
