Heya! My name is Sane, and my team, Thanks For Playing!, along with StickyBuns and Epic from the decently famous Steel (now Silver) Highlander team Gibusaurus Rex, is looking to start up a 6’s team for the upcoming Summer Season! As said by the title, since it’s a newly forming team, we’re looking for a good amount of people – a Medic (potential main caller if the Pocket refuses to main call), a Pocket (who will potentially/probably be the main caller), a Scout, and multiple subs, probably 1 for each class+some minor all-class subs.
Some Important Things to Note
1. We are looking for high expectations. We plan on being in the playoffs, period. We 3 original members have the awareness to participate, coming from our previous decent season under Projectile Dynamics and our strong Highlander experience. We know we can make it, and will practice pretty hard to do so.
2. We expect reliability from our mains. If you feel like you’ll constantly be missing or skipping scrims, we totally get it – irl things are obviously much more important than a video game, but we’d prefer that you look for a more chill team.
3. The schedule will look something like this – We'll have weekend scrims before the summer starts to build up our team. During the summer, Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Pre-game scrims at 8:30 or 9 EST (This time being to accommodate for our heavy Highlander scrim schedule). Friday if we know we need it. Thursday will be some sort of map review, whether it is us hopping into our server and looking through the map, or looking up guides.
4. We ARE a one-season team, though regardless, we plan nothing but excellence for this summer season. Some of us have future plans that require full attention. We probably encourage being LFT at the end of the season. Hopefully, being on this team will make for a good resumé.
5. We DO have our own Mumble channel and our own Server for use. No need to search for one.
6. We generally don’t care about age. It’ll be your maturity that matters.
7. You have to be open to suggestions – we don’t want anyone sour over what they could improve on or thinking that what they did is “always right.” We’re constantly evolving.
8. No need to be the main grouper of the team, the guy who sets up scrims, etc. I will be setting up scrims for sure, and might end up setting anything else up that isn’t met by us initially.
9. We are a pretty happy-go-lucky group of people. We’re not looking for people with generally negative attitudes or calls or callouts. We have respect. Don’t be a douche lol.
