I have a 5770. I'm not sure how long this has been a problem, but it's been no longer than 3 days as everything was 100% fine on Friday. I've tried uninstalling whatever was left of the AMD drivers I had and reinstalling, but for some reason that gives me an error after saying "no amd graphics driver is installed or the amd driver is not functioning."
Not sure what happened, but I've tried everything I could think of from clearly reinstalling drivers to, for some reason, system restoring. I haven't tried reconnecting the hardware in case something got loose. It might need to be cleaned. Dunno.
help pls

Is the card detected in device manager?
Use this: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html
If that doesn't work try taking the card out and booting up the machine. Shutdown and re-seat the card and then install the correct drivers.

It wasn't, no. I managed to fix it though. Either cleaning or readjusting it worked. But thank you, Von!
