Help with the Timer

I cannot for the life of me change the timer, i have tried relentlessly, nothing happens, i have even used the file from other huds and changed them so they can work for mine and it still doesnt change a thing. Someone please help.

when i said i borrowed the file for other huds i wasnt joking, currently i have modded qtc hud files

also if their is anyone adept in hud making that wants to add me on steam and answer hud editing questions basically all the time, we need to become buddies!

Are you referring to the timer on the top of the screen or...? Also, which HUD is that character select screen from?

rawkstar if you could add me that would be easiest, but yes, the timer on the top of the screen, and if your referring to the screenshot i took, its my hud, if your reffering to the other one, its qtc hud.

Sounds good!

Edit: Looks like you've been editing the wrong files the whole time! You're editing the little timers and such that appear on the little tiny control points in CP and KOTH maps. The "timer" function you're editing is the little timer that shows up next to the control point on Degroot Keep (and other maps like that). Try working with files like HudObjectiveTimePanel.res and HudStopWatch.res. Hope I helped!

You might also want to edit HudObjectiveKothTimePanel for the timers on koth maps
