Is there any way to disable all the halloween effects and particles?

Stuff like the flame color, rocket trail color, footsteps, etc... I have a few Halloween demos Im trying to edit and it gets really nasty with those particle effects

not entirely sure if this will work for you but

tf_forced_holiday 0/1/2/3 - 0 = default; 1 = birthday; 2 = halloween; 3 = Christmas

try setting that to 0 before you launch you demo since it creates a listen server it might work...
