The spread was for Saints to win the bet if they won a single map even if they lost the series. Reason won 2-0 so they beat the spread. In a Bo3, a team gets 3 points for winning a map and 9 points if they win 2-0. The spread was 3.5, if Saints had won a map it would be 6-3 to Reason, then the spread would make it 6.5-6 to Saints. As Reason won 2-0 it was 9-3.5 with the spread.
