FPS dropped doing autoconfig and then going back?

Today I decided to see how TF2 runs on default graphics settings for me. I play on ASUS laptop with i5 2.5GHz CPU, Geforce 630M and 8GB RAM. For long time I've been using Comanglia config which gave me stable ~80fps, with the benchmark1.dem timedemo I could consistently get 85fps average result. I backuped and deleted my cfg folder and wrote -autoconfig in the launch options. It was kind of ok, semi-stable framerate of 60, with occasional drops to 40, much better than running Comanglia in matchmaking, for some reason. Anyway, I decided to go back to my fps config, so I put my cfg folder back into the tf folder and for some reason my fps overall dropped by about 25%, in benchmark1.dem my result is around 60-63fps on average.

What the fuck? Has anyone ever experienced a similar problem?

[edit] Nevermind, I apparently messed up with some settings in Nvidia Control Panel. I forgot I changed some when doing autoconfig, now changed back and everything is back to normal. I'd delete this topic but I don't know how.

I set Ambient Occlusion to Performance, but it should just be Off. I overlooked this option :f
