We've casted some AFC before and were planning on doing some more coverage leading up to i58 but since the Asian team planning to go to i58 quit for overwatch it's not been a priority.

Fwiw I believe it's still on tflives radar, I'll see if I can get brodogs to answer. I'm at least hoping it is, I had fun doing it.

Hey, as DavidTheWin has said AF coverage is somewhat lower priority now that the Asian team isn't going to i58. That said, TFLIVE will at least look to cast the semi-finals onward for div1 as we did for MC7, but if TFTV want to cover these games they are free to do so. Right now key staff in TFLIVE are focused on other things, but we'll do what we can.

Asia Fortress never had their own consistent streamers and casters. We were always willing to give a platform for people to set up on TFlive but instead we needed up needing to find people to stay up to the early hours of the morning in our timezones

If you want consistent coverage, you need to have local talent.

AFL doesn't have their own streamers and casters, so it's up to TFTV/TFLive to stream the matches. That being said, I think tflive will only be covering semi-finals onwards

There are local players capable of casting in Asia Fortress and we used them as analysts when we covered AFMC7. The limiting factor is streamers with high quality net. There are streamers in the region but afaik none of them have enough upload bandwidth to produce at the quality TFLIVE would require (3500 kb/s bitrate) - but if they're out there please hit us up!

It was pretty hard staying up or waking up for 6 am for me as well.

Much easier for 2/3/4 am ozf games.
