Hello the hotel I'm in (Premier Inn Birmingham Nec/Airport) is completely booked for the timeframe of i61 and as my teammates still need a hotel I wanted to ask for good alternatives that are cheap, and maybe even in walking distance.

The one I booked ( http://www.ardenhotel.co.uk/ ) looks pretty good and it's like around 20 minutes walking distance from the venue, looks like there's still some rooms left as well
im staying 4 nights for a 3 person room in the ibis budget for £323 and it still has places, there may also be good options with airbnb or similar but i havent checked that thoroughly. birmingham also has good trains and the nec's near birmingham international so you could stay a little bit further out where the hotels are cheaper and use taxis if you come back late
