Hey guys, I use OBS to stream, and I was trying to take a highlight from a cast I did over the weekend, but for some reason, the audio works fine in the recording but when I make a highlight it loses all sound.
So I tried the tool someone coded that was in the stream video thread and that makes a good file, but when I try to put it into Vegas it says that it can't be opened.
I can't find a way around this, if I get Vegas to successfully see the video file that I make it either has no audio or is a terrible quality.
Any ideas?

does that tool make an flv file? a friend of mine was doing that and vegas doesn't accept flv files. you'd have to convert it which would reduce the quality a little (or lot)

Yeah, I know, yamb is one of the four different ways I tried to re-encode it as an MP4/AVI and once it gets converted it either doesn't have audio or Vegas doesn't accept the file. Any ideas?

Hey folks. We're fully aware of this and investigating. Bug soon to be squashed.
PS - if anyone having issues wants to test something for me.. Highlight the entire VoD and see if it has sound.

i had this problem with firefox, i switched to chrome and it's fine.
seems to be fine on firefox now as well.

sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm away from my home atm (stuck on my old macbook) and just wanted to say the issue is still prevalent on macs for chrome, firefox, and safari.
to be clear, whenever I view any old VOD that is a highlight it has no audio. When the clips are uploaded onto the stream highlights youtube channel I can view them fine on my mac, but on twitch.tv itself I can't view any highlights as far as I can tell without losing audio.
Thanks for all your work, twitch staff, and as the highlights are working fine on my PC I doubt this is a problem for many people, and if it is they're using macs so they kinda deserve it. ;)
