ok reposting this
ALRIGHT here are my super late semi-cheating win totals (which I definitely did not add up to make sure it comes out to .500 or anything):
Golden State- 60-22
Houston- 57-25
Utah- 54-28
New Orleans- 49-33
OKC- 48-34
Denver- 48-34
LAL- 47-35
Portland- 44-38
LAC- 42-40
San Antonio- 41-41
Minnesota- 40-42
Dallas- 35-47
Memphis- 32-50
Phoenix- 29-53
Sacramento- 22-60
Boston- 59-23
Toronto- 58-24
Milwaukee- 53-29
Philadelphia- 52-30
Indiana- 48-34
Washington- 45-37
Miami- 43-39
Charlotte- 39-43
Detroit- 37-45
Brooklyn- 35-47
Cleveland- 33-49
Chicago- 31-51
Orlando- 30-52
New York- 26-56
Atlanta- 23-59
Minnesota is by far the hardest (that and Miami if they're the Butler destination, I suppose)
when I revisit this list in an hour or two I'm sure I'll disagree with like all of it

super sad story for rose's career honestly. some people say he could be the only mvp to never make hof, which is sad considering it might end up like that.

The Big Man wants out of the Big Easy.
Boston cannot trade for him until July 1st under the scenario that Kyrie re-signs. They can trade for him now if Kyrie is part of the deal.
Nobody wants him to go to the Lakers.
Warriors may get involved in the summer as well.
Everyone else is fair game.
Where's he going fellas?

wouldn't really call the #2 seed, formerly #1 seed, from the East a dark horse.

I meant a dark horse to get anthony davis, not a dark horse team
the lakers are probably gonna get davis for something like ball, zubac, hart/ingram, and a draft pick
if the lakers don't get him by july then i can see the celtics giving up horford, hayward, and morris for him

I don't think the pelicans are going to agree to trade AD to the lakers
just feels unlikely

if they are, some starters are gonna b gone and 100000000% chance lonzo is gonna be apart of that deal
Pels shouldn't take anything less than Kuz, Lonzo, Ingram, Zubac and a 1st round pick, and the Lakers should jump at that opportunity. As good as these pieces have seemed at times, Lebron's window is closing and they don't really fit the timeline. Their only real chance of getting him would be an offer like this, because the Pels can just wait out lowball offers that contain only 2 of the young pieces until Boston's restrictions no longer apply. Boston could definitely put together a more appealing trade package in my opinion, especially considering Lonzo and Ingram's falling trade stock this season.

They'd be mad to give away that much tbh, the goal this season for the lakers was always development, as soon as they didn't land the kawhi trade. They said that a while back, next season a bunch of really good players become free agents, that's the Lakers target

If you want a top 5 player in the league and the best at his position you have to pay the price. 29 teams should be on the phone right now scrambling to put together an offer, and the Lakers have to do whatever they can to get Lebron a 2nd star to play with as it becomes increasingly implausible that one will sign in free agency.
Kuzma is the only player that has proven to be a good fit with Lebron, and the Pels will hang up on any offer that doesn't include him. Lonzo and Ingram have been underwhelming this season and the league execs have noticed, it has been reported that teams have lost some interest in both prospects.
Sure, the "goal for the season" was developing the young pieces, but the possibility of an AD trade trumps that in the overarching process of bringing another championship to the Lakers.

if I were the lakers I would TRY to avoid putting kuz in the deal but it might be impossible
for SURE though, put in lonzo and ingram- their value is only going to go down if they play with lebron
