I always played tf2 in spurts, and I never really had problems with casual except during the time's everyone else does. But when I started to pick the game back up last month, I noticed that it took a long time to find any matches which usually ended up in servers nowhere near me, while my friends had no problem getting into servers near them. I then started checking my connection to the different tf2 servers while queueing for casual and noticed that my lowest ping connecting to servers was usually around 800-1000 ping and also usually somewhere in Australia or EU even though I live in the west coast, this is weird since I don't have the best internet, but when I'm usually in west coast servers I have around 80-140 ping average which is much less than the game is telling me when I'm queued for casual, and this problem didn't exist until about last month when I started up again. If anyone can help me or at least know why this is happening I would appreciate it
