Maybe try closing TF2/Steam and delete AppUpdateStats.blob and ClientRegistry.blob in the Steam directory.

Clean all the tags and map names in the server browser, also check your internet connection. if that doesnt work then try reinstalling tf2 or reinstalling your tf2 files. hopefully thatll resolve it

i reinstalled my tf2 after the first time i got that error , couldn`t fix it.
