Greetings awesome competitive Community!
My name is Goat and that is only because I'm not creative at all when it comes to Usernames! :)
Since 2 or 3 months I have been getting more and more into competitive tf2. I am main scout and I'm looking to play in the next season in ETF2L (6's). I have played some Tf2lobby.com (~35 games and getting more) and did mostly well and didn't get crushed. I also am playing around 30 minutes a day of mge and I'm feeling like I am improving constantly which is a great feeling!
Now I have still some problems with my aim and would have a few questions to you future mentor!
I am a very talkative guy and am always talking on mumble when I'm playing lobbies, I know most callouts and call basicly everything I see :)
I also get told that I need this thing called "game sense" but I think that I'm doing OK even if I often over commit in med picks.
Now you come in future mentor!
I'd prefer if you'd be in the EU, just due to timezones and stuff :~) I can speak both English and German well enough so a coach of either tonque would be appreciated.
From the skill level I think div4 or something around that would be great!
If you are an awesome person and feel like you want to mentor me and help me get better and find a new friend then post here or add me!
Yours sincerely,
Goat

As it was late at night once I wrote the first post, I realized that I should include what a mentor could help me with
Mid fights:
- Badlands ~ I alter between shithouse and valley ( hiding in valley for a second then go for a med/demo pick)
- Granary ~ Taking crates and looking for cleanups/picks if no one is there to pick I just cap mid
- Gully ~ Going flank and try to get to their flanks once safe then show up behind for picks (You'd be surprised how many meds I get that way :D )
- Process ~ Almost only going through choke protecting combo or go clean up with roamer
- Snake ~ Not really a clue :c
Basic Strategy and Movement:
- Often to aggressive and over committing!
(PoV's I recorded don't work but will supply some once I get my new headset!)
- Due to playing lobby coordination is hard , I have a div5 roamer buddy who I play with often which makes it easier!
- General "game sense" ~ demo reviewing with me
1v1 Scout and Solly:
- Some movement problems in scout 1v1
-> Dodging too much makes me miss almost all my shoots
- Get always destroyed on Solly v Scout
-> Need general tips!
Yep a long list but most can be covered quickly ~ Only the map specific things will take longer.
If you want to help a new comp player out then let me know by posting here and adding me! :)
Greetings Goat.

This is an overview of my deficits. I know my problems and want to improve them!

Try playing pugs or with a team instead of lobby, you won't pick up as many bad habits and the players will be a huge upgrade from tf2lobby. There isn't any coordination in tf2lobby and you'll get away with a lot that wouldn't happen when you play a real team.
your 1v1 will just come with time. Dm and mge a ton and everything will get better.
Scout v Soldier is good for hitting things while you dodge because of soldier's slow movement speed.
Good luck.

friend told me about this site but to quote from it:
"div5 or higher skills"
Haven't found any other Eu pug site :/
And to your post Kapoww:
Almost same as above no EU plugging site that I know of that is available for me as not being in a div yet.
For the 1v1 part:
I know there is something I ain't doing right, I don't really get a good consistent play when 1v1'ing.
Also what is the difference from DM to MGE?
I only played mge so far (a lot though)
Thanks for both of your posts!

If you don't feel up to playing in a pug just yet then you should try out a mix group, they're good for learning the basics of how to work as a team and the importance of co-ordination.
Mix groups:
Try this group for a relatively small and informal group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/nlpg
Or this for a bigger one: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/6v6newmix

As a follow up to this:
My main problems (are as written above) not my skills in games, more map specific things and on what to do in specific situations. This is what I hope a mentor could help me with so I first the theory part then the practical part. In my eyes that makes you improve the most! Just playing even with a prem team does barely directly my problems. :)
