its completely random from what I can tell, non of my mods are causing it so could be a config issue but I'm not sure what to look for.

Do host_writeconfig helpme full, upload it to pastebin or something similiar
Check ur custom/all of them/scripts for any of the files below

If you find any, remove them, see if that fixes the issue, and upload them
Disable Steam Cloud for TF2
Delete Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source\tf\Settings key
Remove all configs and launch TF2 with -autoconfig -default in launch options
Reinstall TF2 (make sure to delete the Team Fortress 2 folder)
