I noticed that an extra two matches have been listed, making for a total of ten set up so far per team in open and IM. Anyone know what's up? Is ESEA changing the scheduling system, i.e., is it no longer gonna be first eight random, next eight by ranks?
it used to be first 6 were random, then they changed it to 8 a few seasons ago. Wouldn't surprise me if they moved it to 10.
it's likely somehow related to csgo but I'm not sure how exactly

It would suck if that were the case. The random thing is really hard on low open teams. It might cause that many more team deaths...
I agree, and the same concerns were brought up the last time this happened. It'd be nice to get some statement from Killing/tri as to the necessity of extending the random scheduling, but I'm guessing it's out of their hands
It seems that opposed to prescheduling the first 8 and generating the 9th / 10th matches like usual (based on record after 3 weeks), they jumped ahead 2 weeks, so now the 9th and 10th matches are basically random, too.
This is definitely the first time they've done this after having switched to prescheduling the first 8.
