shappie is making the assumption that top5 would get automatic promotion, given that there are two slots available due to Foreskings simultaneously folding and being demoted, and due to Planet Express folding. However I think it's likely there's some form of playoff going to occur for that final slot.

but top5 didn't even play in last seasson. They took 2nd place but in s22, and yeah I expect playoffs too.

Past achievements shouldn't matter, it's all about how well you can play at the current time.
I'm not saying admirable is bad though, he definitely has the knowledge and gamesense to play in prem. His mechanics from what i've seen aren't as good as a lot of the other top medics but it's good enough and I think he will improve once he starts playing regularly again so I do think he is good enough for this team. I'm not sure how well he will fit in with the team but if he does then this looks good. I do think ixy did a lot for them and the team with qnx last season was stronger but if django plays to his full potential they should be a solid team.

It's way easier for you to get back in form at a certain level if you've played at that level before. Even if you take a 2-3 seasons break (assuming you don't completely stop playing for months but just play occasionally) you can get back at pretty much the same level or better in like 1 month of serious practice.
Actually for me when I took a few months break 1+ year ago I actually came back stronger and keener and reached HL Prem. Which is why Im taking another 3 seasons break so I can come back after i58 and finally reach 6s Prem Kappa
