To be fair, you have to have a very high elo to understand the Jungle Inferno update. The changes are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of weapon balancing most of the changes will go over a typical player's head. There’s also the pyro's jetpack, which is deftly woven into his movement- his weapon changes draws heavily from overwatch, for instance. The gamers understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these changes, to realise that they’re not just balanced- they change something deep about the GAME. As a consequence people who dislike the Jungle Inferno truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in the pyro's "Gas Blast” taunt which itself is a cryptic reference to the humor of flatulence. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as valve’s genius update unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
