reflex is shit
class variations are what created teamfortress which lead to tfc and tf2. it wasnt quake but that doesnt mean good or bad

you understand there are business concerns right? a game that is alive is a lot more fun than a game that isnt
so you like cpm, but you dont like reflex?
everyone good at this point seems to accept that quake has to be a much different game to have any mainstream success. fwiw my conclusion is similar to yours (this game will probably not succeed). the difference is your reasoning comes off as autistic edgy horseshit from someone who probably isnt even very good. designing a game that still feels like quake when you consider all of its game modes are frustrating to play and boring to watch for the average gamer is a nontrivial problem

Climate change is real, the climate changes by itself and has for thousands of years which is what I stated. What the hell do you think ice ages were? Not climate change?
The IPCC (intergovernmental panel on climate change) has stated that since 1861 global temperatures have increased 0.6C on average. OMG! I'd love to see the data on the global temperature during the transition phase between an ice age and not an ice age. I sure as hell believe it would be a lot more than 0.6C per 150 years.
