Gun Mettle arrived like manna from heaven, bringing us long-awaited rebalancing, content and further confirmation that matchmaking will be coming soon™; Valve love us. However, their warm embrace begin to make us feel self-aware and awkward as the realisation dawned that a variety of movement and combat mechanics had gone a little skew-whiff. Everything feel silent for a week, but for the weeping of scouts and the maniacal laughter of demomen.

Just throwing this out there, but worst case scenario (assuming 4G and Ascent still go to LAN) in which top EU teams have no tickets... no reason (heh) the missing teams couldn't just play the competition online from home?
Sure it wouldn't be LAN ping but it would still be better than intercontinental pings?
If no more seats become available it doesn't have to be the end of the world :S
