if valve brought back the sigafoo save engie would take real skill, that was a move that took immense knowledge of the class and the game's core mechanics, even branching into understanding of the building blocks that make up the Source engine. aside from that, the sheer timing and concentration required to pull off such a move makes it not overpowered as only the best of the best engies can manage to do it reliably.

OR, they could give engie a backpack dispenser/sentry combo. this would make him a versatile and mobile class while also removing the need for a clunky class like the Medic. if the backpack sentry was upgradable to level 3, engie could even use it to rocket jump with the wrangler and reach team mates to heal them with the dispenser
