Could you elaborate a little bit? I'm a bit behind on the chat lingo, so I'm not sure if you're referring to the killfeed or something else.
Also for any prompts, if you have ideas on how it should look that would help a lot!
I believe "feeding" is going in and dying for no reason or not accomplishing anything while going in (e.g. bombing the enemy team but immediately getting blown up), though if I'm wrong, someone please correct me
I don't know how valuable my input is since I'm no expert or anything, but I have an 8320 and I can constantly push 150+ fps on most maps.
I said this in a /r/tf2 thread about Paladins, but since most people on tftv don't care about reddit, I'll say it here too.
Paladins' closed alpha came out before Overwatch's closed beta. At least 60% of the champions in Paladins existed in the closed alpha. Even though Overwatch had been in the works for a good while before its beta came out, so was Paladins in its alpha. In addition, it's almost impossible to come up with original content in a genre that has already been explored pretty well, since both games are basically the fusion of fps's (which are relatively hard to innovate except in new movement styles) and mobas (which there are plenty of; see LoL, DotA, Smite, Strife, Dawngate, et al). So to say that Paladins copied blatantly from Overwatch is like saying that LoL stole from DotA, when there's obviously some major differences in both gameplay and the characters.
TL;DR: They're both from the same genre (class-based FPS), so they're gonna share some similarities. That plus Paladins came out first.
This has probably been answered before, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. How do I change the background of the loading screen when joining a server (as opposed to the main menu/intro loading screen)?
EDIT: Also, my main menu background doesn't seem to be working since Meet Your Match. I have the chapterbackgrounds.txt set up correctly I believe, unless something changed in how that works. If anyone has fixed that, I would love to be able to do the same.
I already made a thread there in addition, thanks though.
Hey there, I'm Andu, team captain of TridenT GaminG, and I'm looking for people to complete our roster, as well as have some subs so we can play in Season 19 of NA UGC Steel 6s. As of right now, we have both scouts and roamer (me), and we are looking for a Demo for the main roster. I don't ask much for those who are interested, just the following:
- Have at least 500 hours in TF2, and at least 100 in the class you want to play on the team as.
- Be able to take criticism and learn from your mistakes.
- Be an active player. If you can't play at normal match times at least 75% of the time, then no.
- Have a microphone of some variety. If you can't communicate with the team, you won't play with the team.
- Optimally between the ages of 13 and 20, but I'm willing to bend that rule in both directions if need be.
You can contact me on Steam here and view the team's Steam group to learn more about us as a whole here. You can also leave a comment here and I will add you to talk about it.
Thanks for taking your time to read this, and I hope you consider joining us for some fun experiences and hopefully we can win the season while we're at it!
EDIT: We have found a pocket and a medic, just need a demo.
