If they included a spectator mode which has the spectator wallhacks plugin that TFTV uses for casts, that'd probably help, too.

Even if the introduction of a lobby HL lobby system doesn't get people into competetive, I would /very/ much be happy to have it included, because it'd let me pub in a more structured and fun format.
I love 6s a lot, it's the most fun format to watch in my opinion, but HL is also a worthy format, as well.
Baby steps.
The best? Definitely The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
Not sure if it's the best, but my favourite (along with the above?) The Proposition.
Has anyone here ever done fantasy TF2, in the spirit of Fantasy Football?
I think it'd be pretty interesting to look at.
Admittedly I know very little about American football, but who knows, man.
Seagull is an amazing pocket...
But I think Plat is an even better one. The stuff he was pulling on his stream today was insane.
I'm not trying to pressure anyone into doing anything.
But if Enigma and TwitchJohn decided to make a league, I'd trust it.
The prize-pool might not be great, and their might not be lans, but I think it'd still be decent.
And hell, if we're willing to donate like crazy to fly 6 folks over to Europe for i49, who knows, we might be willing to donate to give them a bit of a prize pool.
Edit: let me clarify about that first line: Enigma, TwitchJohn, and pretty much anyone who is involved with TFTV probably has way too much on their hands to make a league. This is more just to say that I trust Enigma and TwitchJohn such that if they decided too, I'd support it. That's it; I'm not trying to encourage them make a league; they've got enough shit to deal with.
I just switched to Steampipe because I had no reason not too, and it made it so that my fps config doesn't work any more.
So I checked Chris' FPS config page, which is apparently now no longer updating.
Are there any FPS configs that work with Steampipe and are being updated? And, if so, can you link me to them?
Much thanks.
I'm Australian, even though I follow the NA comp scene more.
Do I think we're going to steamroll? No.
Do I think we're going to win? Maybe.
Do I think the dickwaving in this thread is ridiculous? Yes.

Thou shalt not question Stephen Fry.
I can't have coffee or energy drink, or, hell, your typical caffeinated soft drinks in amounts larger than, like, 3 cans in an hour.
I've got an anxiety disorder which means that if I have too much caffeine I undergo a panic attack and freak the everliving shit out.
In terms of energy drinks: if that's what you want to drink, go for it. Just be careful? Especially if you're mixing it with alcohol. Jaegerbombs will kill you.
The fact that other people could be doing it /for/ the Toon Gang doesn't negate the fact that it makes any Toon Gang win in which someone got DDoS'd invalid.
Man, I wanna see the Aussie soldiers have a go against the best the EU and NA has to offer.
We're known for our sollies, and Europe is known for the demos.
...America is known for b4nny.
Personally, the idea of sending just one team which will be the winner of ESEA LAN (most likely at least) is really cool, because it gives more incentive for folks to play their best at the LAN.
Also, is it true Australia might be there? Because I've all got myself some patriotism there.
I'm currently thinking that if iD Software don't make a new Quake game in the next 3 or so years, they're really silly.
Quake Live is still running, kind of, but it's losing momentum and while there are a bunch of good comp players and casters there, it does seem like it's losing some of the appeal it had.
Maybe we're just living in an MOBA age.
