ME TOOOOO
I've played in 2 seasons of Open, first backing up for multiple teams as they died, this last season starting for teams as they died.
I see a pattern here that I don't wish to continue.
Anywhoo, I'm looking for a starting scout position.
Pros:
-Chill
-Top quality .gifs
-Christmas Cards
So, try me out some time. If you catch my drift..
Gek is a great scout, good DM, good gamesense, but can be a little over-aggressive at times which can leave you down a player at times it would be better to have numbers. Overall, he's a chill person, and a good addition to a team.
Best of luck, Gek.
The Portal 2 Soundtrack box has a sapper reskin. It talks too. It's pretty sweet. Also, I NEEEEEEED that bacon grease. For reasons.
Going home, doing laundry, chilling with friends from back home, resupplying my foodstocks for school, and then carpooling back up early and possibly going camping for the weekend before classes pick up again.
radiumWhat school do you go to?
I'm looking to enter into this program at NC State: http://gis.ncsu.edu/academic.php
IF my grades are excellent and I fall in love (with the field), I'm hoping to go here (and would have to live there for the time being): geo.msu.edu/acad_prog/phdreq.html
Another option would be ceegs.ohio-state.edu/GSGRADUATE/phd.php if I wanted to go into geodetic science, but the problem here is that there would be a fuckload of classes that I'd have to take.
I'm going UW Eau Claire. We just got a new GIS lab, dual monitors, faster processors than the normal school computers, it's awesome. I'm still debating my minor or if I want to go to a comprehensive major for international geography or environmental.
The one I'd suggest out of your choices would be Michigan. I've heard good things, and it actually was my second choice. I only went to UWEC because of out of state tuition for MSU would've killed me by now
2nd year of being a Geography major, I work the front desk in my dorm. Front desk sells sodas, pizzas, other snacks, and juice. Along with sorting the mail.
I'm most likely going to focus on learning GIS software, as it's what I find interesting.
Oh, and blog I made for class that has maps I made: http://thompspm.wordpress.com/
I need to update that with some I made this semester
Updated my placeholder, here's a bonus clip

Thought this was about the Open team I was on. Nope.
After reviewing these strategies I'm pretty sure
zigzterLook at TF2 as a journey, not a destination.
This. I can look back on past teams and just laugh at some of the stuff we've done together, the improvement we've made, and the struggles we beat. Sure, there are low points, but keep on going with a goal in mind with good friends and you can work through it.
Just think, you can look back at old demos or casts and say "Wow, I used to be that terribad? Glad I stuck through it to be at where I am now."
