Also anyone with a simple grasp of economics and common sense can understand that scrapping a superbly well functioning/well known website that is the gateway to competitive tf2 over the grievances of an extreme minority of players without any sort of replacement ready is not very smart.

Miwo is right tho.
Despite your grievances with the TF2C admin team its affected a very small percent of the player base, in addition, the admins walking out and general outcry will have at least sent some sort of message.
Until the problem is affecting more than like 5% of the player base the value of TF2C esp as an existing institution that's well known and works well is worth far more than the bit of grief putting up with the retarded admins and site owner.

On a more serious note, Benroads is a cool guy and pretty solid.
With a different team he could probably display more of his potential and has already proven he can at least contend at a low IM level while playing with Uni.
